François Cordeau Mr. Cordeau is President and Chief Executive Officer of Roctest since September 2004. Prior to that date, he was Senior Vice President at Mitel Corporation and General Manager of Mitel Semiconductors from 1998 to 2001. He worked as a consultant until 2003 when he joined the Caisse de Depot et de placement du Québec as senior partner for private investments. He is a graduate from Sherbrooke University in electrical engineering and holds a masters degree in the same field from Waterloo University.
François Gilbert Mr. Gilbert is a company director. He is Chairman of the Board of Medicago (Alfalfa based protein production) and a director of Dynagram (printing software). He is Chairman of the Board of the Laval University faculty of Business Administration. François Gilbert is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and took part in training given by the Corporate Governance College at McGill University. For ten years, François Gilbert was Vice President and C.O.O. of Gestion Charles Sirois, a private investment holding.
John LeBoutillier A lawyer by training and MBA graduate, Mr. LeBoutillier was an employee of The Price Company Limited for ten years and was president and CEO of Sidbec-Dosco Inc. (now Mittal Canada Inc.) from 1983 to 1996 and of Iron Ore Company of Canada from 1996 to 2000. He is currently Chairman of the Board and President of Mazarin Inc. Mr. LeBoutillier is a director of Industrial Alliance, Insurance and Financial Services Inc., Novamerican Steel Inc., Shermag Inc., Asbestos Corporation Limited and of Société générale de financement du Québec.
Normand Bourque Mr. Bourque, CA, is a company director. Between February 1996 and October 2002, he was President and General Manager of NORDX/CDT, a data transmission cable manufacturer. Prior to that date, Mr. Bourque held numerous top management functions at Northern Telecom Ltd. He has been president of the Quebec chapter of the Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers Association of Canada (EEMAC). He is a member of the Board of the National Optics Institute.
Colette Roy Ms Roy is a senior investment advisor, Industrial Innovations, Electric and Electronic Products and Environment at Fonds de solidarité des travailleurs du Québec (FTQ) since October 2001. She has fifteen years of experience in business financing, including eight in venture capital. Before joining the Fund, she worked in SME financing at Desjardins and at the Business Development Bank of Canada. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Urban Planning from Université du Québec à Montréal and an MBA from Hautes Études Commerciales.
Normand Morin An engineer by training, Mr. Morin has more than thirty years of experience in the management of major projects in North America, Asia and Africa, as well as in the general management of engineering-construction companies. He spent most of his career at Lavalin Inc., and subsequently, at SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. At the time of his retirement from SNC-Lavalin Group in December 2004, he was Executive Vice President and a member of the President’s Office since 1996. He holds a B. Sc. A from Sherbrooke University, an M. Sc. from the Imperial College of London and a Ph D. from MIT. Mr. Morin is a director of Canam Inc.
